Sommelier Business is an online magazine that creates premium content specifically customized to the needs of the world’s top sommeliers and other restaurant industry professionals. The team, in association with Beverage Trade Network, launched a unique wine competition in 2019, the Sommeliers Choice Awards.
Each wine at the 2019 Sommeliers Choice Awards was reviewed on the basis of 5 key criteria that would cater well to a large on-premise establishment’s clientele. Reviewed by the sommeliers, for the sommeliers.
The criteria on which each of these brands were reviewed were as follows:
1. Food Parability
2. Mixability
3. Quality
4. Value for money
5. Packaging
But wait, there's more. The esteemed judging panel have compiled a list of the Top 100 On-Premise Wines. Each of these top 100 wines was chosen by your fellow sommeliers.
The Top 100 On-Premise wines list is a celebration of 100 top wines at the Sommeliers Choice Awards. Uniquely, the T100Wines are selected from votes made by top Sommeliers and On-Premise wine buyers of USA.
The top two questions that sommeliers will be attempting to answer at the Sommeliers Choice Awards as they judge wines is: “Would we stock this?” and "Will the consumer buy the 2nd glass".
Do you want your wine brand to be featured on the top 100 on-premise wines list? Well, only one way to find out for sure, register your brand for the 2020 Sommeliers Choice Awards and see if your brand can please the real on-premise influencers.
