Sommelier Bottle revolutionized by Estal

16/07/2019 Estal launches its own bottle, modelling a sommelier’s vision

Premium packaging global leader, Estal has launched its own bottle that is innovative in its own ways -modelling the vision of Sommelier’s point of view that enhances and changes the quality of the wine.

The Sommelier model displays a minimalist ring silhouette that presents not only a simplistic and juicier appearance but also creates exceptionally utilitarian advantages for its consumers. Thanks to combining the ring and the neck of the bottle with a little low notch in the glass, the premium packaging fellowship has arranged to secure the usual extra thickness made by a counter ring or a collar disappear. In this way, they had developed a quasi‐constant line from the ledge range to the top of the ring. What’s big, it does not alter the making conditions of the bottles for the glassmaker, but at the same time restrict their carbon footprint.

The end of this innovation is a reinvigorated bottle that carries a more dynamic and revealing image that is noted to have a greater influence and a better‐quality level. The format, open in both high and low versions, allows immediate printing on nearly all its height. Likewise, the model does not signify any variation in the capping provisions of the traditional bottle as it continues to respect the Cetie standard with its rule’s requirement. Sommelier has already convinced prestigious companies like Skywalkers Vineyards, owned by the popular Star Wars director George Lucas, by the hand of Château Margüi.

Estal, with a presence in the United States since 2013 through to Global Package, presented its innovative project at the fifth edition of IQ 2019, the annual forum held in Napa, at the end of May, that brought together the world's most avant‐garde premium wineries and wine industry companies.
