A festival that happens once in a generation called Fete Des Vignerons is set to happen between July 18 and August 11 in the city of Vevey, Switzerland.
This festival exists to showcase traditional viticulture that the locals have used since the Roman Reign. In a statement released by the Royal Savoy hotel and Spa in Lausanne mentioned that the festival had been inaugurated in the year 1797 and was last held in the year 1999.
Following the events of this festival, the hotel Royal savoy and spa came up with an offer named as the, “vintage Lavaux”, a package that allows all the guests from the festival to taste the Wines produced using the roman tradition and their viticulture.
The Wines out cased to the display and tasting are blended with a touch of roman wine-making process and some of them are Chasselas, Pinot noir and Gamay. Switzerland being a small importer of its wine, the hotel suggests the visitors and tourists to enjoy the taste Swiss wine.
