(DTCWS) 2025 is to create an engaging, informative, and enjoyable experience, set in the stunning coastal paradise of Monterey, California. Since its founding in 1997 by five esteemed wine industry organizations, Free the Grapes! has been instrumental in expanding the legal landscape for DTC wine shipping, growing from just 17 states to 47 states today, representing 98% of the U.S. population. Despite these remarkable strides, three states still ban all shipments, and seven others impose significant restrictions. Our mission is far from complete.

We achieve this through targeted state-specific advocacy campaigns, urging consumers to directly engage with their legislators.
