Marchese Manodori is made with Lambrusco grown in Reggio Emilia, an Italian wine region known for cultivating the grape varietal. This sparkling red wine encompasses four Lambrusco varieties: Lambrusco Marani, Lambrusco Maestros, Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa.
The medium-bodied wine has hues of red and purple and begins with notes of herbs and cherries when smelled. On the palette, it combines fruity notes of ripe cherries and violets with the spice notes of clove and pepper. Its structured tannins give the dry wine its astringent quality. Overall, it has a well-balanced profile with the right proportions of fruit and spice notes, tannins and acidity.
For restaurants and bars looking to add this bottle to their wine list, the winery recommends pairing a glass of this wine with dishes like meat-filled ravioli, salami and barbecued pork ribs.

Having manufactured wines for nearly five decades now, the company has perfected the art of winemaking. It ensures that every batch of wine from the vineyard is of top-notch quality by producing wines in limited quantities of eight tonnes per hectare. Besides, the Lambrusco grapes and all the other varietals grown here, such as Sorbara, Grasparossa, Salamino, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Pinot Nero, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Grigio, are diligently chosen.
In addition to making high-quality wines, Venturini Baldini is also keen on being sustainable, thus all their grape varieties are cultivated organically and harvested by hand.
