30/03/2022 Adega Cooperativa de Redondo has once again closed top of the chart with their Double Gold winning Porta da Ravessa Special Edition 2020 Vintage.

The Paris Wine Cup singles out and shines the spotlight on wine brands that consumers really want to buy and have a clear market value for trade buyers. This helps wines gain more visibility with the audience that cares about them the most in the trade and beyond.

The 2022 Paris Wine Cup saw many reputed wines bagging big medals. But one brand emerged victorious across all the categories and enjoyed the spotlight. This true winner is Adega Cooperativa de Redondo

Founded in 1956, Adega Cooperativa de Redondo is from the Alentejo Region in Portugal. It is one of the largest wine producers in this region that brings together the work of over 200 winemakers from the sub-region of Redondo. In an average year, Adega de Redondo produces approximately ten million liters of wine, 75% of which is red. Modern and well-equipped winemaking and bottling facilities make it possible to make the most of the quality of the grapes received, under the supervision of winemaking director Mariana Cavaca.

Adega Cooperativa de Redondo has once again closed top of the chart with their Double Gold winning Porta da Ravessa Special Edition 2020 Vintage. This Still Wine from Portugal is made from Verdelho / Gouveio / Verdelho, Arinto / Assario branco, Antao Vaz varietals and one 96 points at the Paris Wine Cup. This wine was also crowned the Wine of the Year, Best In Show By Country, Best Wine By Value, and Best Wine By Package.

This is closely followed by a 95-point Gold Medal won by Real Lavrador Selection a 2020 Vintage Still Wine made from Trincadeira/ Castelão / Torneiro, Aragónez, Alicante Bouschet varietals.

The Porta da Ravessa Special Edition 2020 Vintage Still Wine made from Shiraz / Syrah, Aragónez, Alicante Bouschet varietals won 92 points and a Gold Medal. 

The Porta da Ravessa Reserva a Still Wine made from Fernão Pires / Fernão Pires, Arinto / Assario branco, Verdelho / Gouveio / Verdelho is a 2020 Vintage. It won a Gold Medal with 92 points.

Adega Cooperativa de Redondo also bagged many Silver and Bronze Medals. Silver Medal winners are Real Lavrador 2020 Vintage Still Wine made from Castelão, Trincadeira/ Castelão / Torneiro, Aragónez; AR Reserva Touriga 2018 Vintage Still Wine made from Nacional / Azal Espanhol / Preto de Mortágua, Shiraz / Syrah, Alicante Bouschet; Terras Lusas 2021 Vintage Still Wine made from Roupeiro / Codega, Fernao Pires / Fernão Pires, Arinto / Assario branco; Real Lavrador Selection 2021 Vintage Still Wine made from Roupeiro / Codega, Rabo de Ovelha, Arinto / Assario branco; Porta da Ravessa Reserva Especial Limited Edition 30 Years 2017 Vintage Still Wine made from Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional / Azal Espanhol / Preto de Mortágua, Shiraz / Syrah; and Real Lavrador 2021 Vintage Still Wine made from Roupeiro / Codega, Rabo de Ovelha, Filerio. 

Bronze medal winners are Porta da Ravessa Reserva 2019 Vintage Still Wine made from Touriga Nacional / Azal Espanhol / Preto de Mortágua, Shiraz / Syrah, Alicante Bouschet; AR Touriga Nacional 2018 Vintage Still Wine made from Touriga Nacional / Azal Espanhol / Preto de Mortágua, Arinto / Assario branco, Verdelho / Gouveio / Verdello; Terras Lusas 2020 Vintage Still Wine made from Trincadeira/ Castelão / Torneiro, Aragónez, Alicante Bouschet; and Terras Lusas 2021 Vintage Still Wine made from Aragónez, Castelão.
