It’ll be wine o’clock all afternoon in Yorktown on October 5 as we celebrate Yorktown Wine Festival with a delightful blend of fine wines and stunning riverside views! Whether you're a seasoned wine aficionado or just starting your journey into the world of wine, this event promises a charming fall experience where you can sip on exceptional vintages while taking in the picturesque York River. The event offers a unique tasting journey, featuring Rieslings and Gewürztraminers from Germany and exquisite bubbly from France—true champagne from the only place where it’s authentically created. This international nod adds a special flair to the day, making it a celebration of wine across borders.

Alongside this grand tasting, you'll be treated to live music, delectable bites from local restaurants, and the craftsmanship of talented artisans. This year, tickets are priced at $40 per person if purchased by August 30, and $50 thereafter, with entry being strictly ticketed. While the event is exclusively for ticket holders, a limited number of non-drinking tickets will be available. Guests are asked to bring only unopened bottled water and a small folding lawn chair, with no outside food, drink, tables, or pets allowed—service animals are an exception. Proceeds from the event will benefit the York Foundation for Public Education, Sister Cities Yorktown, and other local nonprofits, ensuring that every glass of wine helps support important community causes.
